Our Freedom And Restoration Will Come

As I consider the pandemics that seem to have this world in captivity, I’m reminded of God’s people In the Old Testament when they were going through a very dark time. They were being held captive against their will and mistreated by other nations. God sent this word to encourage them and give them hope for their future. He will give them double for their trouble. When the time came God set them free from the oppressor, He was faithful to His Word! Hallelujah!

I know we’re going through a hard time globally, but in your personal life are you going through a difficult time with bills, relationships, mental health and other things? Let this word bring you encouragement too. God wants to give you double for your trouble. He is the God of restoration—that means He’s not going to just repay you for every wrong done, He’s going to go above and beyond and make things even better than they were before.

Today, if you are facing challenges, or going through a time of adversity, remember, it’s always darkest just before the dawn appears. Your days are destined to shine brighter, because God is faithful. As you stay in faith and are obedient to His Word, you’ll receive double for your trouble and the blessings He has in store for you! Hold on to Him and we will see the global captives of covid-19 and racism disappear, and we will be set free and abundantly blessed!

“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” (Isaiah 61:7, NIV)

Pray With Me

Yahweh, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and guides my steps. Father, I will put my trust and hope in You beginning today. God, give me the strength to hold on to You as I face the double assassin of covid-19 and racism. Thank You for the promises of freedom and  restoration. I receive them right now by faith into my life, as I keep my heart and mind stayed on You, in Christ’s Name! Amen.

How To Prosper In A Pandemic

During this covid-19 pandemic, consider the trees of Psalm 1:3. Those trees represent power, majesty and stability. Have you ever noticed the difference between a tree planted by the water and a tree far away from water? The tree next to the water is much more healthy and vibrant. Its fruit and blossoms are the most beautiful.

In the same way, when you are “planted” in the Word of God, your spirit is fed, and you grow strong just like the tree by the water. You’ll bring forth fruit in the proper season. In other words, you’ll be in the right place at the right time. You’ll be productive and fruitful. And notice, the end of today’s verse says that whatever you do will prosper!

Today, do you want to prosper in your relationships? Seek God’s Word regarding relationships. Do you want to prosper in your health? Seek God’s Word about healing. Do you want to prosper in your finances? Seek God’s Word regarding finances. Make sure your heart and mind are planted in the Word of God. Let Him illuminate your heart with truth. Let Him water you with His promises. Seek Him, trust Him and obey Him, and everything you do will prosper like a tree planted by water!

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”

(Psalm 1:3, NKJV)

Pray With Me

Yahweh, I love You so much. Thank You for Your Word which is truth and water to my soul. Father, I want to be rooted and planted close to You during this pandemic, and always, so that Your water of life can make me grow and prosper. God, search me, know me and guide me in the way that I should go, as I am planted and rooted in Your Word, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Develop An Attitude Of Gratitude

I struggle with people who are ungrateful. Those who don’t say thank you, and who don’t testify of what God has done in their lives. What are you grateful for today? Are you grateful for His love, mercy and kindness? Are you grateful for the sun that shines and brings us a new day? Are you thankful for the gift of eternal life?

Friend, no matter what may be happening in the world around you, you can always find something to thank God for. Gratefulness and faith go hand in hand. When we are grateful it shows that our faith is in Him. We can thank Him for what He’s done in the past, and what He will do in the future!

Today, remember, faith pleases God; it causes Him to move on your behalf. Work to develop an attitude of constant gratitude, and give thanks to the Lord for His goodness to you, and to those around you for their kindness. As you do, you’ll experience His mercy and loving-kindness in greater ways, and move forward into the blessing and victory He has prepared for you.

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!”

(1 Chronicles 16:34, ESV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, today I declare my thanks to You for all You have done in my life. Father, please help me to be more grateful and to see Your hand of blessing, as I continually acknowledge and praise You for all You have done. God, give me an attitude of gratitude today, in Christ’s Name! Amen.

Don’t Let It Expire

One day I received a gift card that I stored in a special place for so long that I forgot I had it? Most gift cards have an expiration date, and if you don’t use it, you will surely lose it! The same is true with the Word of God. No, the Word doesn’t ever expire, but we have to take action and use His Word in order to receive His promises. Just like you exchange your gift card for the things you need at the store, His Word gives you the power to receive every promise He has for you.

When you declare His Word and keep your heart and mind open to Him, you are using the gift. You are opening the door for Him to move in your life. For example, if you’re facing lack in any area, receive the gift of provision by declaring, my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If there’s a mountain in your way, receive the gift of victory that says, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).

Today and every day, use the gift He’s given you. Make His Word a priority and don’t let it depart from your mouth or your blessings expire. As you do, He’ll make your way prosperous, and you’ll enjoy the abundant life He has for you!

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

(Joshua 1:8, NIV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your Word which is truth to set me free. Father, I determine in my heart to use my gifts before the expiration date, and set Your Word into motion in my life. God, keep me close to You so that I can please You in everything I do, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
