Declare It So

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” That’s what today’s Scripture begins with. It doesn’t say, “let the redeemed of the Lord think so.” Or, “let the redeemed believe so.” Of course, it’s important to think right and believe right, but something supernatural happens when we open our mouths and declare something so emphatically that You don’t even have to say it to anyone else.

You can say it while driving or in the shower. Say, “the economy may be low, but I am blessed. I am prosperous. I will lend and not borrow.” “I may have had some setbacks, but I know those setbacks are a setup for a comeback! This is still going to be my best year so far. The favour of God is turning things around.” You are prophesying positively into your future.

Today, remember when you say what the Lord has done for you, you are declaring that you are redeemed, you are opening the door for God to move on your behalf. The Scripture tells us that He watches over His Word to perform it. When you declare His Word, when you speak His promises, He is faithful to fulfil them, and lead you into victory all the days of your life!

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary.”

(Psalm 107:2, AMPC)

Pray With Me

Yahweh, thank You for delivering me and setting me free. Father, I will declare Your goodness. I will declare Your promises. I will declare Your favour, because You told me in Your Word let the redeemed of the Lord say so or declare it so. Hallelujah! God, I know what I declare with my mouth will allow me to live the good life You have prepared for me, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Time To File It Away

When I started working in an office in Westminster at the age of 16, my boss had me file things away, but he had a special file which he called file 13 (not sure why). This was a dust bin for documents that needed to be trashed and never to be looked at again. He also said that about negative things – that we should have a file 13 in our minds. When things happen in your life that you don’t plan, do you find yourself trying to reason it all out, or look for a “file,” so to speak, in your mind to put it in? What happens when you can’t reason it out or make sense of it all?

Here’s the answer: every one of us needs to create two files in our mind one called, “I Don’t Understand It” and the other file 13 “Things Never To Remember”. When things come up that don’t make sense, things that you can’t figure out, instead of getting frustrated or confused, put it in your “I Don’t Understand It” file and leave it alone. If you go through life trying to figure out why something bad happened, or why things didn’t work out, it will cause you to become bitter and stuck in life. Also, instead of being held back by negative people, places and things from your past, file it in file 13 and move on. Part of trusting God means trusting Him when things don’t make sense, because we know that His plan is always for good. We have to know that He will reveal all things in His time, even if that means in eternity.

Today, are there some things that don’t make sense, or are holding you back that you know you need to file away in the “I don’t understand it” file, or in file 13 “never to be remembered” to be eternally trashed? Choose to trust God now and file them in Jesus’ Name. Now move forward. Know that He loves you, He is for you, and He has a great plan for your future!

“Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, nor with things too profound for me.”

(Psalm 131:1, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, today I surrender my past and all the things I don’t understand or have no answers to, and choose to trust You as I move forward. Father, please fill me with Your peace. Fill me with Your grace and compassion. God, trash all those negative people, places and things in my life today, as I press forward into the victory You have prepared for me, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Diligence Rewarded

Scripture talks about two types of blessings – conditional and unconditional. God longs to pour out His blessing upon you, but you have to do your part. You have to be diligent. First of all, you have to be diligent in seeking His ways and following His commands. Then you also have to be diligent with what you have in your hands  – your time and resources.

Jesus tells a parable in the book of Matthew, about three men whose employer entrusted them with some money. Two of the men were diligent and invested their money, and received a great return. The third man was afraid and buried what he was given. The first two men were rewarded and praised for their diligence, while the third man was basically fired.

Today, follow the example of the first two men in Jesus’ parable who invested and used their money, and look for ways to be diligent with what you have in your hand. Whatever you do, do it with excellence. Be the best you can be and go the extra mile, even when you think it goes unnoticed. Even when people don’t notice, God notices and promises to reward the diligent. As you stay faithful in the little things, God will make you ruler over much, and you’ll live the abundant life He has prepared for you.

“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.”

(Proverbs 13:4, ESV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your favour and blessing on my life. Father, today I will be diligent. I will live in excellence and do everything to the best of my ability. God, I give You all the glory for the blessings that are, and those that are yet to come, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

As I end my week here in sunny Serbia this morning, I am reflecting on the goodness of God, and that helps to set my tone for the day and this weekend. When you wake up in the morning, do you expect the goodness of God in your life? Do you set the tone of the day for success, favour and blessing with your words? Scripture tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. So as you reflect on whatever you want God to do in your life, move forward and declare it in Jesus’ Name.

Declare power, declare kindness, declare strength and declare praises to God all throughout the day. Things may be bad all around you. People may be negative, complaining and discouraged, but don’t let that spirit rub off on you. The worse it gets, the brighter you’re going to shine. The good news is that no matter how you feel, no matter what’s going on around you, you can choose your words. There’s nothing that can stop you from constantly speaking His Word with power and positivity!

Today, set the tone for your day, week, month and year, by praising God and declaring positive words of faith and abundance over your future. Remember, when you put God first and you speak His word, He promises to honour you. He will pour out His favour on you and lead you into life, health, strength and blessing, all the days of your life! Hallelujah!

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

(Psalm 34:1, ESV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I choose to bless You at all times. Father, I set my tone for my day, week, month and year by declaring Your favour, grace and mercy over my life. God, thank You for Your faithfulness at all times. Please help me to be faithful and positive, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

What Are You Seeking God For?

What are you seeking God for? Does it seem like it’s taking a long time to come to pass? Please be encouraged, because the Scripture says that through faith and patience, you will inherit His promises! If you’ll stay in faith, if you’ll keep on seeking Him, it won’t be long until you see that breakthrough. Hallelujah!

Many of us give up just before we get our miracle. We stop when things get hard, or when we don’t get the answer we want the first time. Today’s verse encourages us to continually ask and continually seek. That doesn’t mean that we seek Him one time and then stop. No, we seek Him until we have the promise!

Today, submit your most desperate prayers to the Lord, and keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking on the door, and it will be opened to you. Know that God is perfecting whatever concerns you. Don’t give up! Instead, start thanking Him for His faithfulness in your life. Thank Him for His promise that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek after Him! Hallelujah!

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

(Matthew 7:7, NLT)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for blessing me with a diligent spirit. Father, thank You for Your faithfulness. God, give me strength to stand and seek You, until I see Your promises fulfilled in every area of my life, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

The Anointing Makes Things Easier

Just recently when I concluded a revival, the Spirit said I should have a time of anointing. The local pastor and leader didn’t want it in their church, which was surprising, since Christ and David and many others were anointed for many reasons: sickness, ministry, prosperity, goodness and mercy, and for burdens to be lifted and yokes to be broken. Hallelujah!

In Scripture, oil is used symbolically to represent the anointing of God. Do you know what oil does? It makes things flow. Whenever there is friction or something gets stuck, putting oil on it makes it become more fluid. That’s what God wants to do for you. He wants to anoint your head with oil. When He does that, notice what David says in Psalm 23, “because God anoints me, I walk in His favour; surely, goodness and mercy will follow me everywhere I go.”

Today friends, God’s anointing makes things easier, just like oil does when applied to hard and tough situations. People will go out of their way to be good to you for no reason. You’re going to have creativity, wisdom and good ideas, because of the anointing. God’s anointing on your life will cause the right doors to open. It will bring the right people across your path. It will make things go smoother. And the good news is, all you have to do is ask Him for it. Remember, He longs to be good to you. You can trust that His anointing will make things easier, and He will lead you into the abundant life He has in store for you!

“…You anoint my head with oil…”

(Psalm 23:5, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your favour and anointing in my life today. Father, thank You for causing me to be at the right place at the right time. God, anoint my head with the oil of Your Holy Ghost, so that I can move forward smoother, and be focused on the path of ministry and life You have for me, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Comfort Zone

The comfort zone is that place where you feel comfortable. Oftentimes when people face challenges, their natural tendency is to go to their comfort zone where things are familiar. It may be work, an activity or relationships; and of course, we all know about “comfort food.” More than the physical things, the comfort zone can be a place in your mind.

Those things only bring temporary comfort. True comfort is only found in a relationship with Jesus. Webster’s dictionary says, comfort means to give strength and hope; to ease grief or trouble. No matter what difficulty you may be facing today, God wants to bring you comfort.

Today, just like a mother cares for her child, God longs to give you strength, hope and confidence. Turn to Him. Receive His love. Let go of that comfort zone and the things that hold you back. Let Him heal your heart and give you strength and lasting comfort for the future. Let Him empower you to rise up and overcome every obstacle in Jesus’ Name!

“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you…”

(Isaiah 66:13, NIV)

Pray With Me

Yahweh, I come to You today, please fill my whole being. Father, give me Your comfort and strength to replace my temporary weak human comfort zone. God, empower me by Your Holy Spirit to live in the victory You have planned for me, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Cares And Worries Be Gone

Today, God invites you to give your worries and cares to Him, simply because He loves you!

How do you give Him your cares? First of all, understand that cares show up in your mind. When negative, self-defeating thoughts of worry come, you have to recognise them as cares, and replace them with the Word of God. For example, if you are concerned about a need today, say out loud, “my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.” If you have fear about something, say out loud, “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” If you have sickness in your body, declare, “by His stripes I am healed.” As you meditate on the truth, and focus your heart and mind on the Father, those cares and concerns will disappear.

Today, thank Him for giving you peace and joy. Thank Him for working in your life. As you keep an attitude of faith and expectancy, give Him your worries and cares, and get ready for the blessings He has in store for you!

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.”

(1 Peter 5:7, NLT)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I come to You today casting all my cares and worries on You. Father, I believe Your Word and trust that You are working on my behalf. God, I give You all of my worries and declare them gone so I can praise and glorify You, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
